Are you feeling that you can not progress more?

・ I'm interested in Japanese, but I don't know what to start with.
・ I am busy, so I want to learn Japanese efficiently.
・ I need Japanese to study there and work, but I do not feel that I am improving.
・ I studied Japanese grammar, but when I hear it, I do not understand what was said.
・ When I try to speak Japanese, it doesn't come out so easily.
・ Since my brain always translates Japanese to my language, it takes time to speak it, and thus I hesitate to use my Japanese.

What is “Learn Japanese Express!” course?

How can you actually learn Japanese efficiently while you are busy working or studying nother subject?

From the day I decided to go to Denmark, I read a Danish text book written in English in the train from home to work and listened to the sample sentences with a cassette tape that does not exist any longer. I sighed secretly wondering whether one day I understand what was said from a series of sounds that I could only hear as "Boabwagua".

But about half a year after I came to Denmark, I already had a conversation with Danish people in Danish. And now, I am fluent in Japanese, English and Danish and work as an interpreter for international companies, politicians and managers. How did I get to speak Danish only six months after I came to Denmark and come to work as a professional interpreter?

Shortly after I came to Denmark, I started to go to the toughest, fastest and most reputed Danish school in Copenhagen.

At that school, 10 Danish sample sentences were given each time, and at the next lecture, we had to say them in the air, when the teacher said the underlined words in the sentence. We had to repeat that training three times a week.

If we took a day off more than once, or if I made a mistake more than 3 times in 1 lecture, we had to automatically repeat the class again. So every school day was a tense for every student. But being Japanese, that sort of strict training was not so new, and I never failed a class.

It was actually a training of our brain to start using the new language. An adult’s brain usually stiff enough to block a new language to be activated, so the school’s method was to actively implant Danish idiomatic expressions and grammar as patterns to our head.

By the time I finished the school, my teacher told us that she counted and found out that we had made more than one thousand idiomatic expressions and essential grammar ourselves.

And six months after I came to Denmark, I was already able to speak Danish with Danish people. Just between you and me, people around me that time were often very surprised by the fact that I communicated with them in Danish only after 6 months.

Rumor said that the school's method was originally a "strategy" developed by the military of a certain country to train spies and to master foreign languages most efficiently.

To my surprise, the school was closed due to some financial problems a few years after I graduated, and now even in Denmark, this method, which I believe is probably the most efficient way to learn a new language, is discontinued.

Almost 20 years have passed since then, and the number of people studying in Japan and staying as working holiday maker or expat has increased.
Thanks to the media which have introduced Japan’s long tradition, unique culture, adorable nature, and modern aspects, the number of people who have visit or have some interest or association with Japan has increased.

So I decided to deliver the language learning method, which I made to talk in Danish in half a year with and which no longer exists even in the school which developed, as an online teaching program, so that people like me that time with basically no time can learn Japanese effectively not depending where they are.

The learning method, which is believed to be developed to train spies

The fastest language learning method with which I have mastered a new language within half a year
The teaching material to make it possible to learn Japanese online
"Learn Japanese express!”

The "Learn Japanese express!" introduces 100 idiomatic expressions and 50 essential grammars with explanation and audio. If you listen to the most commonly used Japanese expressions and the grammar essential for learning Japanese many times, read aloud, and train yourself to make them your own, you will be able to express yourself in Japanese and have conversations in Japanese. Enjoy learning!

I repeat, because it is very important. Listen, read aloud, and understand all the sample sentences in this material until you can say them in the air.

This is the only and notably most efficient online learning method of Japanese that you can no longer learn anywhere else, developed for training spies.

By making sample sentences your own, you will be able to recognize the expressions in the sample sentences in actual conversations, and use them yourself. If you keep this and accumulate your expressions, you will be able to understand what others say in Japanese and express what you want to say to them in Japanese.

Learn Japanese efficiently with the best learning method for busy learners. You can use this course with your PC, tablet, and mobile phone whenever you have small pockets of time.

It is hard to continue…

Actually, the school I attended was Sparta.
As a result, I was able to learn Danish efficiently by trying to catch up with what was required at each lecture.

However, it is difficult to continue learning on your own because it is difficult to understand what you need to do and how much you need to do. In addition, it is actually difficult to keep up your motivation.

Being self-learners of Japanese, you need a tool to tell you what you should do now and what kind of results you will get. You need something that will help you pace your learning.
You need teaching materials that will serve as a pacemaker to accompany you.

The strongest teaching material to make sure your acquisition of Japanese

I have given various advices to help you overcome such barriers, but I came to one conclusion.

Since it does not exist anywhere else, I should make it.

I made “Learn Japanese express!” to solve the above problems.

I sincerely hope that you will soon start using this course to give you a clear direction on what you need to master Japanese as soon as possible.

I am looking forward to your enrolment to “Learn Japanese express!”.

Best regards,
Yoko Winther

I found this course very effective, as all the sentences are what people are using in real situation in Japan. I found people were very friendly and helpful in Japan, and they became so happy, when I tried to use some expressions in the course.
From there communication with local people got even better and easier, as people seemed to be relaxed knowing that I can understand what they said. By using the sample sentences presented in the course, I could make myself understand and communicate with local people.

“7 hidden tips to learn Japanese as fast as possible by professional Japanese teacher / interpreter”

1. Grasp short idiomatic expressions
2. Essential grammar is the basis of everything
3. Read out featured sentence until you get them by heart
4. Expand your vocabulary from things around you
5. Accept that this is a language from far away
6. Get to know the pronunciation from sound materials and video clips
7. Don’t assume that you can use English and they try their best to understand you

In order to master Japanese, it is important to start with learning idiomatic expressions and get the feeling that you can use Japanese, and then sit down and tackle the essential grammar. In that process you expand your vocabulary and phrases, and you will be able to have perfect command of Japanese.

And by knowing the effective method to learn Japanese, you will have to use minimum and optimize time and effort to learn it.

1. Grasp short idiomatic expressions

Japanese language has a lot of idiomatic expressions.
Let’s take an example, “Aligatoh-gozaimasu.”「ありがとうございます。」.
This is an idiomatic expression to care those who continue to work, when you have to leave earlier than them, which is used very often in business context.

However, if someone who memorizes “Shitsulei-shimasu.” 「しつれいします。」as the expression for “Excuse me!” hears this expression, “Osaki-ni-shitsulei-shimasu.”「おさきにしつれいします。」, he / she may think, “OK, I got the last ‘Shitsulei-shimasu’ part, but what was it before that…?” and get worried.

Especially, Japanese sentences can change the object, as the object comes first before the verb and if you do not get the first part of the sentence, you may not know what the sentence is about. To make the situation worse, the subject of the sentence is often omitted, so you may need to guess what happened to who…
That is why a beginner of Japanese may sometimes get down and feel panicked.

When you have many idiomatic expressions as a whole set in your brain together with the sound and meaning, you can receive them as the expression you know or the expression which is similar to what you know in a relaxed manner.

And when you have a lot of idiomatic expression in hand, you will be able to listen to it, understand it, as well as use it correctly in an appropriate situation.

When learning idiomatic expressions, it is very important to learn the vocabulary and grammar at the same time. The process to understand the meaning and reason behind the expression while learning idiomatic expressions gives stimulation to your brain, which leads the expression to be stabilized in your brain better than just memorizing it superficially.

“Learn Japanese express!” presents 100 idiomatic expressions with explanation in English and sound. If you listen to and read out the 100 idiomatic expressions and make it yours, you will be able to make daily conversation in Japanese.

2. Essential grammar is the basis of everything

Although it is important to learn idiomatic expressions until you know it from memory, however, you will need to know the essential grammar at the next step. The reason is that you can not widen the range of application just by knowing some expressions.

I wish I could say that you could learn Japanese just by looking at Japanese TV, listening to Japanese radio, and talking to Japanese people. But the reality is, unless you do not hat a child’s brain, you will not able to master Japanese just by doing so.

However, on the other hand, adults’ brains have the power to understand language logically! Based on the structure that you have understood, you can create various expressions!

Let’s take an example, “Dansu-shimasenka?” 「だんすしませんか。」.
This means, “Would you like to dance (with me)?”
When you know the essential grammar, you can see the followings from this sentence,
- Since this sentence ends with “ka”, this sentence is an inquiry,
- “Shimasen” is a nagation of “shimasu”,
- Since this sentence includes no subject and this is an inquiry, the subject must be the person the speaker is talking to, ie. “you”, as the subject should be obvious, when it is omitted, and
- Inquiry using a verb in negation makes polite inquiry, so this sentence is a polite inquiry, since it includes “shimasenka”.

By having the basis to understand grammar, you can obtain reproducibility from the sentences that you learn and apply the rules and multiply the similar sentences.

“Learn Japanese express!” presents 50 essential grammar with explanation in English and sound. If you listen to and read out the 50 essential grammar and make it yours, you will be able to make daily conversation in Japanese.

3. Read out featured sentence until you get them by heart

It is important that you read out the sentences instead of just looking at and understanding them for learning not only Japanese but also any new language.

Bu reading out the sentences, they stimulate your brain through your ears, which makes your brain easier to acquire them and acknowledge Japanese as one of your active languages. In this way, you will be able to use Japanese in actual conversation.

Let’s take an example, “Kohhih-ga-ihdesu.” 「こーひーがいいです。」, meaning “I would like a cup of coffee.” which is commonly used, as you are often asked weather you would like coffee or tea.

You need to have your mouth ready for these short sentences in order to be able to use it instantly in an appropriate situation.

Therefore, you will be able to use Japanese in an appropriate situation, if you read out commonly used expressions and make your brain and mouth recognize Japanese as your active language as well as understand the grammar inside of the expression,

“Learn Japanese express!” presents 100 idiomatic expressions and 50 essential grammar with explanation in English and sound. If you listen to and read out the 150 sentences and make it yours, you will be able to communicate various things firstly by exchanging words in the sentences and then by applying the grammar to various sentences, which makes it possible for you to make daily conversation in Japanese.

4. Expand your vocabulary from things around you

When you learn a new language, you may think that there are so many things that you should learn and feel overwhelmed… It will in reality take a lot of time to reach that you have nothing that you do not know about the language and it is actually an endless challenge for all of us.

However, you can not master a new language, if you just shrink from the fact. You need to prepare for that you start a long journey. It is at the same time nothing impossible as solve a very difficult mathematical problem. Thus, it is very important that you take it easy and do not give up.

It is the best to expand your vocabulary from the things you find around you. If you live in Japan, you can try to find the name of the things even though you are not buying them. You can also borrow children’s books which present names of things, if you know some Hiragana (Japanese alphabet).

Although you do not live in Japan and no one speaks to you in Japanese, you can utilize Japanese online books and video clips on youtube. A lot of animation films are on youtube with subtitles.

When you learn terms from the concrete things around you and essential grammar, you will be able to understand various sentences. After that you may learn some terms which express abstract definitions from the sentences that you learn. In this way you expand your vocabulary. By changing the sentences and expressions that you have learned using the terms that you have obtained, your possibility of expression widens and master Japanese.

For example, in the sentence, “Tomodachi-ni-aimasu.” 「ともだちにあいます。」,
You will learn, the following 3 commonly used terms in Japanese,
-        “Tomodachi” means friend,
-        “Ni” navigates direction or object of certain verbs, including “au(=meet)”, and
-        “aimasu” is a polite form of present verb, “au(=meet)”.

“Learn Japanese express!” presents 100 idiomatic expressions and 50 essential grammar with explanation in English and sound. If you listen to and read out the 100 idiomatic expressions and 50 essential grammar and make it yours, you will be able to make daily conversation in Japanese.

5. Accept that this is a language from far away

As you know, my mother tongue is Japanese and I also speak English and Danish.
From my personal experience, it took me more time to learn English when I only spoke Japanese than to learn Danish when I spoke English, too.
I know the difference between learning a language from neighborhood and from far away.

You have probably studied already a language from your neighboring country and it was not so hard, as you could use the knowledge from your own mother tongue to some extent.
Learning a new language was just a huge extension or dialect of your own language.

However, Japanese is from an island in far east. You can probably not use most of the knowledge that you have from your mother tongue, unless you speak Korean, which has basically the same grammar as Japanese. Grammar is different, and vocabulary is also different…

Luckily the globalization has made us to use a lot of imported terms from English. It is just that we call the terms with our own accents… People usually understand if you use terms like orange, melon, yoghurt, computer, smart phone, soccer, pool. big, small, cute, nice, wonderful, globalization.

Come to think of it, the different the culture and language is, the more fun and surprise you will meet. The world you will be able to see is so astonishing, if you can speak Japanese.

And that is why it is so important that you choose an effective method to learn Japanese.
And I believe and recommend that you utilize this course by reading out the sentences in the course, understanding the grammar and terms using the explanation in the course, and making the sentences your own thing.

“Learn Japanese express!” presents 100 idiomatic expressions and 50 essential grammar with explanation in English and sound. If you listen to, read out and understand the 100 idiomatic expressions and 50 essential grammar again and again, you will be able to use them in an appropriate situation and make daily conversation in Japanese.

6. Get to know the pronunciation from sound materials and video clips

It is effective to learn a language both from eyes and from ears.
Therefore, it is important that you not only read and watch Japanese, but listen to Japanese as sound.

Japanese has only 5 vowels, so phonetically Japanese is very simple, a little like Italian and Spanish. And people speak clearly, compared to for example Danish, which is said that the whole nation speaks with their mouth stuffed with hot potatoes.

But still you need to learn where you place stress, where you raise your voice, and where you have to use a long vowel. If you are together with people who speak Japanese, listen carefully how they are speaking certain words and sentences. They are the best teachers.

If you do not have anyone speaking Japanese, you can use youtube, animation films, and internet.

“Learn Japanese express!” presents 100 idiomatic expressions and 50 essential grammar with explanation in English and sound. If you listen to, read out and understand the 100 idiomatic expressions and 50 essential grammar again and again, you will be able to speak with right accent and tone and make daily conversation in Japanese.

7. Don’t assume that you can use English and they try their best to understand you

We learn English from primary school now, and English signs are established at every station in Japan.

However, you should not expect that you can make everything in English in Japan… If you wish to make a conversation with more than 2-3 words in a sentence with locals in Japan, you had better learn Japanese, unless you are in a company working with overseas clients and partners. You will not regret. I can assure you. We are such a lot of fun. Once you can communicate with us in Japanese, dimension of what you can see in Japan will change like from 2D to 3 or 4D.

“Learn Japanese express!” presents 100 idiomatic expressions and 50 essential grammar with explanation in English and sound. If you listen to, read out and understand the 100 idiomatic expressions and 50 essential grammar, you will not need to do somehow with your English in Japan and have fun with Japanese people in Japanese.
